| Where does the name come from? Nash is an anagram of my name. Do you perform live? My greatest kick is to perform on stage, preferably with other musicians. Greatest moment is when everything falls into place and everyone's in harmony. How, do you think, does the internet change the music industry? The internet makes it possible for you to reach out to anyone anywhere around the globe. It's an amazing opportunity to get exposure that was unthinkable in te pre-web era. In the future music will probably be sold solely via the internet. Would you sign a record contract with a major label? Depends on what kind of deal they can offer. What's most important is a dedicated management that knows how to market someone in the music industry. Band History: I did leadvocals/guitars/keyboard in my band, Pretty Sharp. They were/are great musicians and we always had a lot of fun on stage. When I signed a contract with Koch Music (1990) the band fell apart, cause the record company insisted to sign me up as a solo artist. All good things come to an end. When I got out of the studio, Pretty Sharp was nomore. Your influences? In a timely order: Bob Dylan, Eagles, Rolling Stones, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Police, Wang Chung, Joe Jackson, Van Halen, Bryan Adams and so on. Favorite spot? Koh Samed, Thailand. Equipment used: My voice and my hands, so I'm able to sing my songs & play a little guitar/keyboard/piano/harmonica. |
