Hi, Welcome to my website. You could be a friend or a relative or just a stranger passing by. Just for your information, main focus of this site is music. You may be interested in the songs I write or the songs I perform live. The latter could be a famous song that was a hit once or a song that might have been a hit, but never made it in the charts. Next to this there is some personal stuff, pictures of friends & family. Feel free to leave me a message or a comment on a song, even without the need to sign up, which is optional. Anyway, thanks for visiting & see you around. Nash Hallo, Welkom op mijn website. Je zou een vriend of familielid kunnen zijn of zomaar een onbekende, die langskomt. Ter info, focus van deze site ligt op muziek. Misschien heb je belangstelling in mijn eigen muziek of de stukken die ik live uitvoer. Bij de laatstgenoemden kan een bekende hit zitten of juist een nummer dat ooit een hit had kunnen zijn, maar het nooit heeft gehaald in de top 40. Voor de rest staan er wat meer persoonlijke zaken op, zoals foto's van vrienden en familie. Je kunt bovendien een bericht of commentaar op een song achterlaten, ook zonder aangemeld te zijn. These past few weeks Jack has been working hard to get the job done, but it looks like the website is finally getting there where we want it to be. There might be some changes overtime, but that is inherent to the dynamics of the internet. I hope you will find it easy to navigate and that you will enjoy the content. If you have any comments or remarks that can contribute to this site in a positive sense, feel free to leave me a message. De afgelopen weken heeft Jack hard gewerkt om de klus te klaren, maar het ziet er naar uit dat de website eindelijk de vorm gaat krijgen waar we naar gezocht hebben. In de loop der tijd zullen er wel veranderingen aangebracht worden, maar dat is inherent aan de dynamiek van het internet. Ik hoop dat je alles gemakkelijk kunt vinden en dat de inhoud bevalt. Ingeval je op- of aanmerkingen mocht hebben, die op een positieve manier kunnen bijdragen aan deze site, dan kun je altijd een bericht achterlaten.

Kid's musical OTJE

In the summer of 2006 I was asked by my daughter's teacher to 'pimp up' a song for a kid's musical, named OTJE. The kid-actors thought the song was boring and wanted to have it transformed into a rap-song. And so I reproduced the song and they were so enthousiastic, that I decided to re-write the whole musical. My own kids, Yvette and Max did all the vocal parts and it became a huge success. I must have sold at least ............. 40 cd's, big business . The money went to a good cause, KIKA (funding for research of childcancer). Well, it took time & effort, but we all had a lot of fun. In de zomer van 2006 werd ik door de juf van mijn dochter gevraagd een liedje bestemd voor de kindermusical OTJE om te bouwen tot een rap-song, omdat de kinderen, die het moesten zingen, het maar een saaie bedoening vonden. Toen het nummer in een nieuw jasje was gestoken, waren zij zo enthousiast, dat ik maar besloot alle stukken aan te pakken. Mijn eigen kinderen, Yvette en Max hebben alle vocale partijen voor hun rekening genomen en het werd een enorm succes. Ik heb minstens ............. 40 cd's verkocht, wat een handel . De opbrengst ging naar een goed doel, KiKa (werven van fondsen voor onderzoek op het gebied van kinderkanker). Het heeft de nodige tijd & inspanning gekost, maar we hadden een hoop plezier.
